We wish we could enjoy it with y'all. We miss hanging out with y'all. The celebration looked like it was a lot of fun. We are hoping to take the girls to something similar on the base this weekend. Hope your week goes well!abrookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00810365294970088825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5369490556984966681.post-82638524522606377812009-06-29T22:29:13.715-05:002009-06-29T22:29:13.715-05:00Celebrate America is a wonderful event at TBC. I ...Celebrate America is a wonderful event at TBC. I have really enjoyed getting to be a part of the choir for the past two years. "Taps" had my hair standing on end because it reminds me of my grandfather, whom I lost to Alzheimers two years ago. He served in World War 2 and in the Korean War. "Taps" was played his military funeral. The song that ment the most to me this year was "Kerie, God Have Mercy." I just think it says exactly how we as Christians feel living in this world. Seeing your children wave flags from the choir loft was absolutely precious. Several of us commented on it as we were leaving the auditorium. They may not understand it all now, but with great parents like you and Tony to show them and guide them, they one way will.
God Bless you and your family this 4th and always,
Sarah WilliamsonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5369490556984966681.post-74270945693538402702009-06-29T13:53:48.377-05:002009-06-29T13:53:48.377-05:00Our kids think its neat, all the flags and "s...Our kids think its neat, all the flags and "sparkley's". And then to be back for the evening's activities. Thanks to everyone for the hard work that went into the entire day. At PIB right now, flying home this morning...but will be sure to watch "John Adams" with my husband when I get home! Thanks for the recommendation. Will continue to pray for your family.mshel333https://www.blogger.com/profile/17226646086235442104noreply@blogger.com
