Good Friday

Bring out the dyes...
The kids were jumping with excitement friday morning to begin decorating their eggs...

We mixed contemporary egg decor with traditional pysanky style... I'd brought home some Ukrainian eggs covers which turned out really nice :)
Our little Ukrainian Americans show off their eggs...

Titus wanted to eat them...

After eggs, we headed to Temple East for a fabulous Good Friday Service... What a worshipful, celebratory time in HIS Word and time of reflection through communion. Thank you, Jesus...

Thursday became a rather unexpected full day of connecting with different local ministries... a blessing. First, I went thinking just to drop off some clothing/household items and arrived in time to participate in the morning prayer time of a ministry just down the street from our church... Oasis ministry. The ladies who run this site and multiple others around town, graciously gave me the tour. These godly women, Priscilla and Cynthia, provide opportunities at this location for individuals to acquire community service hours and/or work off various fines. While there, they are shown the love of Christ and embraced by His grace...

Priscilla and Susan (who serves in this ministry and several others around time, when she is not working - thanks for connecting me:-)...
