The first week of July was a week of camp craziness, ha. I had one day with Joshua before he flew with Tony to Tennessee to speak at Student Life Camp...
Meanwhile, my oldest four participated in Winshape Camp (think "Chicfila":) hosted by Wake Crossroads Baptist Church in partnership with other churches in the Raleigh area... James participated two years ago and LOVED it...
I got a little bit of work done during the daytime while they were away...
James planted some bushes in our front yard... blooming!
Tony and I often take pictures of what's going on where we are and send them to each other. Here is a picture of our four oldest one evening after camp eating dinner and saying hello to Tony and Joshua in TN...
And here is what Tony sent back... Joshua enjoying some Buffalo Chicken wings, yum!
And, don't forget this guy!
Dressed in our Winshape gear on the 4th of July...
Decorated in our American flag for the 4th!
With some Student Life staff having a blast!
Ah, another morning of productivity and coffee...
Chicfila Family Fun Day!
And then we were off! Again!
"to grandmother's house we go" (and PopPop's :)
Eager...
James wanted to get straight to work on a project, ha!
One of Aunt Priscilla's sunflowers in mom's garden.
Meanwhile, back in Tennessee (ha ha)...
Project #2: build a fire pit
We girls went to go see "Brave". It was pretty cool to have a princess named after us (ha - at least that is what we pretended)... wasn't impressed with the movie sadly.
Mom put together another delicious spread in anticipation of Tony and Joshua's arrival. My dad and James went to pick them up from the airport...
The girls and I made banana pudding...
On Sunday, Tony preached at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church (my parents' church)... good times with great friends...
Later Sunday, we were off again! Back home as a complete family...
Monday brought:
Basketball Camp for Joshua
Summer School prep for the girls (they started Wednesday!)...
Kids eat free at Chili's...
Fishing with papa and Michael...
AND wood working camp for James!
Meanwhile mom (a.k.a. mom) is STILL trying to get caught up on things. It has been a BUSY summer. God is gracious and we are grateful! God's blessings to each of you!
