Gymnastica!

Thursday was a big day...
The kids did well their first day of school. When I arrived to pick each of them up they were all smiles. It was fun to listen to the four of them reliving their day in Russian as we drove home from school... We had enough time to drop off backpacks, pet Titus and change clothes before loading up again for GYMNASTICA (as they call it)...

Waiting for big brother and big sisters to finish...

We got home in time to greet our friend, Grace, who came to play while I went to a music rehearsal. I had made my grandmother's cheese soup recipe for them to enjoy and will enjoy it myself today for lunch. We had a good rehearsal preparing to lead worship for our upcoming women's event. Musical worship is always therapy for my soul. :) What a blessing to have sweet Grace come and watch our children in order for me to participate. We are continually blessed beyond words...

The kids were tired this morning when I woke them up for school - I wonder why?!. :) I could feel their pain... Nonetheless, they were still excited to return for day two. When we arrived at the first school earlier than the classroom drop off time, my youngest shed tears of reluctance in going it alone. I confess, it was a quick and challenging moment of deciding what to do... wait or go on ahead to the next school drop off? I know many of you can relate to me in this moment of second guessing your decision making! Thankfully, some gracious school staff (namely the Assistant Principal) scooped her up to comfort and take her along to her teacher. So, I'm left to my day of errand running and praying that God would grant each of my children His peace as they experience new things. May our Gracious God grant each of you friends His peace that transcends understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus...

Kim sometimes you just have to depend on the school, and I think most Teachers and Principal can relate and care enough to treat them like their children. It always take adjustment, and more for your four because of the language, it will continue to get better. Send me the soup recipe. always like soup and only one pot to wash. Love, Momma B
