"Bless the LORD, O my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103:1-5
There is so much more to that psalm but I'll let you meditate on it for yourself... O, the steadfast love of the Lord... His marvelous grace!
We are settling back in to our daily routine, minus the closing of school due to a deep freeze quite uncharacteristic of Mississippi... The kids are enjoying their new games and toys while I play catch up and Tony prepares for his upcoming trip to Africa...
Candyland and painting projects (Aunt Lisa, Victoria was full of excitement as she focused upon her craft)...
It was time to take down the "craft door" to make room for new project displays. Here's a glimpse of a few things the kids did at the end of 2009...
Once we get a little more settled in, I hope to take some time to share with you a little more about the Sovereign grace of God in the development and "settling in" of our children. Meanwhile, we thank you for your continued prayers. May you know His love and grace and compassion afresh this day...
"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust." Psalm 103:11-14
