Don't you just love free and fun entertainment? The pet store is a good place to go...
I had to pick up one thing there and hadn't thought about what a great place that is for the kids to have a little fun looking at the little animals... It was all pointing and giggles... ;-)
Wednesday night, the we girls had a "girls' night" back at the house: Watched Tangled and ate popcorn...
While the boys went out to watch a Durham Bulls baseball game... They had a blast (and were worn out on Thursday for mama - ha ha). Afterwards, Tony said Eyasu was like, "Papa, you do good thing. You so sweet." His way of saying thanks...
Thursday was a day of hanging out with new friends. I enjoyed a breakaway lunch with friends... Then, that evening we had dinner with more new friends... While at the house, Angela found a "little friend" who'd "lost his life". The whole exchange was hilarious. She came running out of the bathroom making the combination of shock and laughter noises while holding a deceased mouse by the tail! Quite entertaining... Ms. Cindy decided a proper burial was necessary, much to the kids' delight! So, here they are gathered around the gravesite...
Tonight, we look forward to gathering for the first time with our Imago Dei Church core team... Again, thank you for your prayers as we embark on this new journey...
