Is it September Already?!.

It is hard to believe September is already here. Time flies when you're having fun I guess... :-) Imago Dei Church is set to officially launch next Sunday! Below is a picture taken of our core team a week ago...
Living room rehearsals...
This Labor Day weekend we were blessed by a team of friends from Temple Baptist Church Hattiesburg, Mississippi. What a blessing. You can read more about the weekend here: www.idcraleigh.com/blog
Fish Fry in the park... Can we say "YUM"!?.

Sunday morning preparing for worship...
Prepping the children's area...
So grateful to have my parents visit over the weekend... grateful in so many ways, one of which was helping keep our precious children as I continue to get over Shingles... Of course we had to get a snapshot of Tony and I sportin' our IDC tees... ;-)
Joshua helping papa collect his things...

The Lord's Prayer...
Monday (a.k.a. Labor Day) we enjoyed a picnic with friends at our neighbor's house, the fabulous Keathleys :-)
Mom and I left a little early in order to take Victoria for an Xray. Poor sweet thing that she is fell off the monkey bars Thursday afternoon on the school playground. We nursed it all weekend thinking (hoping) it was just a bad sprain. However, the swelling did not really subside...
BEFORE
Victoria had to take a picture of mom and I...
The Xray... distal kink kind of fracture of the radius bone... fabulous
I had Victoria pose with a pitiful expression for the camera... we will visit an orthopedic in a week, once the swelling subsides, in order to have a cast put on... what a trooper she is!!!
AFTER
Meanwhile, back at the house, dad had James on multiple yard projects which he absolutely loves! Even Jana enjoyed helping some!
They, with the help of my dad, did significant work on the back yard. So exciting to get the wilderness a bit more under control!
Hugs before mom and dad had to hit the road back to Virginia...

Grateful for family!
Sad to say goodbye...
Now, back to school...
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
