Home for a Few Days...

Titus tackling part of Tony's new hobby...GOLF!

We had a wonderful time of fellowship this past Sunday celebrating Fathers Day with our church family.  Our time of worship was a time of celebration of what God has done for us through His Son, Jesus - Adopted us!  Galatians 4:4-7 reads,

"But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

We thank Almighty God for adopting us!  We also thank God for the gift of wonderful earthly fathers! Thanks to my Dad, in particular, for introducing me to Christ Jesus and for his godly example of unconditional love, generosity, hospitality, diligence and faithfulness!

Meanwhile, we are enjoying a few days at home in New Orleans of rest, study and catching up on work around the house...
