The kids slept until about 7 AM, with one 3 AM tearful plea to use the "toilet"... with a hug, a kiss and an exuberant "Yes, of course!" and she was happily back to sleep...
Tony got back around 1:00 PM today...
I managed to keep a mostly contented household until then... :)
Then it was outside to play, off to T.G.I. Fridays for round 2, balloon bashing back at home, bath time, and nighty night time.... As I type, they are whispering in the other room....
Tomorrow, Sasha picks us up at 9:30 AM to wrap up our paperwork for visas... all is well.
Scheduled to fly home Saturday! Hallelujah!
I'm tired...

all is well, God is good :) sweet dreams :)
I've recently found your blog and enjoyed sharing in the excitement and anticipation as you got closer to being able to take the children out of the orphanage and home forever. You have got so many fantastic times ahead of you as you discover their individual personalities and giftings and probably a few challenging times as well, but more often than not it's the testing moments that sercure the parent/child relationship.
Speaking from experience, we went from 0 kids to 2 russian speaking preschoolers overnight, make sure you sleep when you can, ask for help when you need it, pray and move the cat food, my two yr old still eats it even after a yr and a half home!
God Bless
Praise God! I know you are so relieved.
You all will be in my thoughts and prayers as you travel! Thanks for sharing the journey with us and your family at TBC look forward to growing closer to the Lord through our ministry and life together as a church family totally embracing James, Angela, Victoria and Jana!
