Singing in the Rain...

"Singing in the rain, just singing in the rain, what a glorious feeling..."
The kids laughed and splashed in the rain yesterday covering themselves in mud.  What fun!
We have been working on establishing a daily routine.  I've created a picture schedule with times on it to help them understand when its time to come downstairs in the morning (not at 4:30 AM!), when it's time to eat, time for quiet or nap time, etc...  The days are getting smoother with expectations.  :)  They are slowly picking up some English words.  Last night as we tucked them in to their beds, they would one by one say, "I love you" back to us.  Precious.  There are only a few other words they are actually using, though they are understanding more as we go along.  So far they know: water, ice, more and milk.  The essentials - ha ha.  Behaviorally, our meltdowns are less frequent and less dramatic.  Our youngest has been the biggest improvement.  We have not seen what we experienced in Ukraine (i.e. kicking, biting, screaming during a fit).  She has progressed the most and is welcoming attachment.  It is so amazing to see the positive effects of bringing our children home.  We have a long way to go, but we praise the Lord for His grace and for the honor to love these children.  As Tony prays often with our children, "May they learn to obey us, to ultimately obey the Lord Most High and may we bring Jesus glory.  Amen."

Our prayer too as we pray for our children. Your kiddos look like they are truly enjoying themselves. The pictures are priceless.

Enjoy, they grow fast. Then we ask where did the time go.

Blessings.
