Wednesday morning four Ukrainian mommas gathered for prayer and encouragement... Please join us in praying for the Mills' family (Crystal Mills is pictured below in green) as they begin the next phase of their adoption journey in Ukraine. They travel Saturday, 10/10/09. Please pray for the peace of Christ to rule in their hearts and minds as they follow God's leading to grow their family and care for orphans....
Meanwhile, back at home...
Thursday and Friday were parent/teacher conferences for three of our four. It was great to be able to sit down with each of their teachers for updates. All are doing well in their classes, all things considering. We are pleased and encouraged and left with additional activities to help them progress along the way.
It was time for the third and final round of immunizations (Hepatitis B and Varicella - i.e. Chicken Pox, which the kids got a big kick out of that name). Three of our four were excited, while only one seemed normal... ha ha. Three shots (also got the flu shot while we were there), some tears and a few screams later, we grabbed some Chicfila to go as rewards. The toy was a beaker which meant momma had to create experiments for them to do. See below....
