Singing Songs...

What a week this has been... between check engine lights (yes, plural intended), swarmers and bills...among other things...I find myself singing songs about the greatness of God...
Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
Our God is higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, Our God
Look at these little treasures heading to costume and favorite team day at school this morning... (for the record: I was NOT driving when I took these... we were parked :-)

You are stronger, You are stronger
Sin is broken, You have saved us
It is written, Christ is risen
Jesus, you are Lord of all!

I pray you know the greatness of our gracious and Most High God today... you are loved by a Holy God... and He is able to do immeasurably more than you could ask or imagine... to Him be the glory, forever and ever!

A little R&R with the Johnsons'...

Saturday afternoon we enjoyed some 'food, folks and fun' with our friends, the Johnsons'... Here's a glimpse for you to enjoy...

Fishing was the sole thing on Eyasu's mind from the minute he woke up to the moment he truly discovered what it was... all smiles... (and a little trash talking when the boys returned to the house... "Me three, James one and papa no fish." (He's quite the character - ha!)
James is completely in his element... precious...

The girls were 'pretty in pink' and wondering why they didn't get to jump in the boat with the boys... ha...

My boys... :-)
I don't think Eyasu stopped smiling or giggling the whole time...

James' one fish... according to Eyasu... check out the gleam in his grin!

The girls particularly enjoyed their canine friends - Jackson (who at times had to be tied up to 'save the pumpkins') and Bailey (who the girls cuddled like a baby)...

Following a delicious dinner, we enjoyed a couple rounds of 'Corn Hole' (my first time)... what a blast! Wauline and I almost beat the guys...
The kids wore David out playing tag...
The girls LOVED the kitty cat...

THANKS Charles & Wauline, David, Ashley & Andrea!!!

While the Boys were away, the Girls played...

The kids bounced out of the van Thursday evening with giggles and screams as they greeted papa's return from the Holy Land... then we were off for Mexican food...
Friday evening, papa took the boys out to GattiTown so the girls could have some girl time at the house... birthday slumber party...
After pizza, the boys had $10 each to spend... James took 10 minutes... while Eyasu took about 50 minutes... ha...

Earlier, Tony and Angela enjoyed a daddy-daughter date...
Starbucks and new earrings from Israel...
Let the slumber party begin...
Girls just want to have fun...
Angela and Olivia smiling with her new "fake nails"...
Played the Wii...
Sang "Happy Birthday"...

And rejoiced with 'glee' at the sight of presents (especially, earrings) - ha...
Saturday morning was time to break out the Friendship Bracelet Making Kit that Babushka had sent...

Wonderful way to kick off the weekend... SO grateful to have Tony home... looking forward to football and rest today... and to worship together tomorrow... the study of Galatians has been such a rich study... looking forward to 2:11-14 in the morn! Hope you each have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for your prayers while Tony was in Israel. They had a glorious trip! We're glad to have him home!
