Blurred Past Few Days...

Clifford the Big Red Dog spent the weekend with us... a weekend of fun "Kindergarten assignment" for Eyasu...
On Monday and Tuesday, TBC hosted the Advance the Church conference. It was rich, and I only got to participate in snippets here and there! Several gifted pastors preached through the book of Colossians on the Supremacy of Christ in the Church. It was an added blessing to see several friends, both old and new... Here are a few images of our time together....

Here is Victoria, worn out from all the fun... :-)
Chickfila lunch with panel discussion on adoption hosted by Bethany Christian Services...
I only managed a couple, low quality pics of Tony & friends... here is one of Tony's best friends from seminary days, Byron Townsend, a gifted worship leader & pastor...

It was great to see Pittsburgh church planter (and family friend from my home), Eric Phillips. Tony was jealous of his hair. I was sad his precious wife, Colleen, was not also able to join us. :)
It was a wonderful few days....
Wednesday morning I had the pleasure of reading a couple of my newly favorite books for Eyasu's Kindergarten class... highly recommend.... but get some tissues prepared...

Afterwards, Victoria went to ESL. At the end of their class they visited their garden. Precious. One of my hopes for our future home is a place to have a garden... between now and then I need to learn how to garden... :-)
Before heading home, we stopped by to sign some papers. Our friend, DeLois, read to Victoria...
When we got home, we curled up under the covers to watch Tony preach in chapel at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Victoria and I are planning a quick trip on Thursday to listen live and visit friends... and maybe some red beans and rice....
After school, we swung by the church studio a few minutes to hear the progress of the CD. Dan hooked Eyasu up with a guitar... a natural, ha. He was in heaven... and looks forward to taking guitar lessons one day like his brother.
James showed off a four leaf clover he'd found on the playground... On a side note, James is loving guitar lessons with Codie. Playing guitar is a good outlet and project for him.
One of the kids' favorite meals: lasagna. Yum yum...

Oh my goodness! The adoptive version of God Gave Us You! I've always loved that book and wished it applied to us! I've got to get the new one! Thanks!
