Happy Birthday to Angela!

Today we celebrated Angela's first birthday since God brought our family together. She turned eight years old today! The day began with a daddy-daughter date for breakfast at Huddle House. She came back saying, in her words, "I had eggs... I'm full." (All smiles) Too cute... such a girl. :) Afterwards, I took her to the mall to get her ears pierced. This was something all the girls had been asking for since our time in Ukraine. We had told them that when they were doing well with their English that would be their reward. Angela has done exceptionally well, so this treat became a part of her birthday experience. Then it was time for Mexican food for lunch... "Chips and Salsa" was her only request... She is definitely our child. We also could live off chips and salsa! :) A few family friends joined us for tacos and laughter....

Our little princess....

Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa sent money.... woo hoo!
Angela was excited to download praise & worship songs on her new MP3 player...

God is so gracious to us... what else can be said?!. The words of the day are simply, "great joy".
