Family & Friends Frenzy...

WEDNESDAY
Celebrating papa's birthday as a family...
and then with friends (our growth group:-)...
Kami made a baseball birthday cake and dinner!
Good times...
THURSDAY
Some of our IDC crew enjoying some Mexican food following SEBTS chapel...
Love all these sweet friends...

Judah came and sat on my lap to eat some of my rice. He said, "It makes me feel good!" Ha. Too cute.
Had an extra child (our friend, Sterling) come home from school for a little while. These four were engrossed in conversation. Had to capture the moment... :)
Popsicles and chatter...
FRIDAY
While SEBTS hosted the 20/20 conference, we set up an informational booth for IJM during registration.
Sweet Ms. Karen hung out with my kiddos... afterwards, I took them out for Dairy Queen drive thru... a favorite of ours...
SATURDAY
Fun times at the 1st Saturday of the Month Kids' Workshop hosted by Home Depot...

The kids had yet another treat... Burger King to go... We joined Tony at the 20/20 speaker luncheon on campus. They sat at the head of the conference table with their crowns on. It was hilarious. They looked like the kings and queens of the luncheon...
Later, we enjoyed hosting about 14 in town from TBC's college ministry in Mississippi for the 20/20 conference... they called it "pizza and pontifications", ha.
Sadly, my 'group shot' did not turn out the greatest... but we had fun.
SUNDAY
After a great morning of worship and digging in the Word (we began a new series on Exodus at IDC), we grabbed lunch at the mall with our MS friends, as well as with some IDC crew (one witty IDC-er nicknamed us "iMALLgo Dei" since there were so many of us there, ha) and then we went home for naps... The girls drew pictures for Donnie and Meghan (our new growth group host which meets on Sundays now). This was too cute. I couldn't help but take a picture and share...

Judah was showing us his golf abilities on his cajone drum...
Home Depot interview...
Cajone golf...

Just came to your blog after reading Orphanology. What an amazing story you have!

My husband is also a pastor and we adopted 12 kids during our first 11 years of marriage (we had 9 by the time we were married 5 years). They are ages 13-25 and we've had quite the ride.

I share our lives on my blog... things get more complicated the older the kids get... but we keep hanging in there.

Great to see your pictures!
