BYT at Carowinds Park

We joined thousands of students for an evening of worship at Carowinds Park in North Carolina.  This is an annual fellowship hosted by the Youth Division of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.  There were student groups reportedly from as far as Idaho in attendance!
Christian music artists, MercyMe, kicked the evening off.  They are gifted musicians made popular in the late nineties especially after writing, "I Can Only Imagine".
Tony presented the Gospel as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve... then to more than five hundred..."
When the invitation was given, Tony got down on eye level to speak encouragement and give instruction to the several students who had come forward to say they wanted to know Jesus.  It was a sweet experience.  The Holy Spirit moved mightily last night.
MercyMe returned to "play us out" in celebration and challenge.  It was a wonderful night of worship.  When we got back to the hotel we both hit the pillows hard.  Very soon we will be (sing with me:) "leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again..."  Thanks for all your prayers!  We continue to covet them as we travel back today and for a busy weekend.  Blessings to you all!

Is there any recording of Tony's message that he delivered at BYT. He did an exceptional job. God has definitely touched his mouth.

Thanks, Jeremiah

Jeremiah -
I passed your comment on to Tony. Thank you for your kind words. The Holy Spirit was very present at BYT. We were blessed to be there. God is so good. :) I'll check to see if Tony has any recording of some of the things he shared there and get back to you. Thanks. Kimberly
