Beautiful Ridgecrest Conference Center. This place is perfectly nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and forever will hold a special place in our hearts.
"The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therin, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers... who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory!" (Psalm 24)
Monday afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting with sisters, Kerri & Cory, at RCC's Clouds coffee shop. These two young women were rising seniors in high school who came to Centrifuge camp the summer of 2000 where I served on staff as a Bible Study leader. Now one is teaching elementary school while the other is working on a degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary here in North Carolina (my Alma Mater). It is a blessing to see where the Lord has brought them and the work HE is doing in and through their lives.
Tony alongside of a fun-spirited college student following a powerful message from James 2:1-13 on showing no partiality and loving all our neighbors as ourselves.
Evening worship service...
The cross at Ridgecrest lit up in the darkness. Brings to mind Galatians 6:14 - "But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."
