Our SDA Visit

Dear Praying Friends,
We are so grateful for you and ask that you continue to lift us up on this amazing adoption journey. :) At 9:00 AM this morning we met with the SDA and were presented several files of prospective children. I confess it is a difficult thing to look at the precious faces of these children living in orphanages throughout the country and try to discern where to go. It is too early to share any details beyond the fact that we do have a referral to visit with a sibling group about a 5 hour drive outside of Kiev on Friday. We are excited and wait patiently upon our Sovereign, Loving & Providential God. Please continue to pray for our journey, specifically for our visit on friday. We will post more details as we are able so stay tuned! Blessings to each of you!

Oh how exciting. You are in our prayers. I cannot imagine how difficult the decision you are making is. I would want to take them all home. We will be praying that the Lord would match your heart with the hearts of the children he has created to be in your family. We will also be praying that the children feel the same bond. I want to dance around my kitchen singing "Your getting your kids! Your getting kids!" We will dance and sing and cry with joy together when you bring them home. Love you both!!

I can't imagine having to choose...that's heartbreaking in a way b/c I'm sure you'd love to just wrap them all in your arms. I know you won't really be "choosing"...God has a perfect, well-laid plan. Still praying!

Praise God!!! He is the one leading you where you need to be. Take your time (as there are no deadlines decerning when you have to give your answer as your worker might suggest). You will know once you've met the kids. Just be prepared as best you can. Don't build up your expectations too much. Wishing you the best.

Congratulations on a successful first appointment. Praying for wisdom and peace for you on friday. Neither of our adopted children met our original "criteria" for our family dynamics but we knew they were to be ours! For one of our adopted children, it was love at first site of their photo, for the other it was a gradual love founded on God saying "YES, Move in faith!"

Dear Pastor Tony and Kimberly,

What a glory to God this Easter season! You honor Him in becoming the family He intended for you-not to mention the earthly benefits of children to love! My family offers up prayers for all of you daily and can't wait to meet the blessings of our Lord.
In Christ,
