Chicken Fingers, Coca Cola and Giant Sundaes!

Today was another great day for James at Upward Soccer Camp.  Papaw observed greater participation and skill.  They returned red faced with large slur-pees.  Meanwhile, the girls rode their bicycles for awhile before opting for air-conditioned entertainment.  Following lunch, I ran out the back door with James (before the girls could notice... they whine if they feel they're missing out on anything - ha ha) to purchase some soccer cleats and Sunday shoes.  When we made it back it was time for more swimming!

THEN... it was time for Seasons restaurant!

Before we even arrived the kids were reciting, "Chicken!  Chicken!"  When they saw Kelly, the girls started reciting, "Telephone!  Telephone!"  (Ha ha...someone has been spoiling them!)
Jana with Kelly's phone...
Angela with Amy's phone...
James waving "hello" to Hal...
Victoria with Hal's phone...

Papaw and Mamaw enjoying the entertainment...
Coloring...
Then Hal started calling the cell phones the girls had (which made them nervous at first when the phone they were playing with actually rang)...
Jana and Angela got quite a kick out of it when they discovered what was going on...
Then the chicken fingers, french fries and fruit cups arrived...
Not sure what Vica was making a face about, but in the words of James, "Yum.  Yum."
Angela taking a break between dinner and dessert...
James diving in to his giant sundae!
Each of the kids went straight for the cherry on top...
We had a blast with friends and family this evening at Seasons!  While the kids enjoyed their "yummy" food, I also enjoyed my favorite: Mandarin Shrimp Salad!  I craved it back in Ukraine - ha ha...  Anyways, we were grateful for the "food, folks and fun" over dinner tonight!

Tomorrow, following Upward Soccer, we plan to take the kids to the zoo for another first on our last day with Papaw & Mamaw.  Trying not to think too much about the fact that they have to leave Thursday to head back to Kentucky... going to enjoy the priceless time we have!  Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the gift of such wonderful inlaws!
