At least, that's what our kids must be thinking... even though they have yet to experience and understand what Christmas really is!
Dedushka & Babushka Merida (a.k.a. Papaw & Mamaw) arrived Saturday afternoon bearing gifts...
And bringing great joy...Every boy needs a Nerf basketball goal for their bedroom, not to mention a Kentucky basketball jersey...
Every girl needs their baby dolls and Sunday dresses...
The view from above...
Titus still wondering what has happened to his former tranquil little world...
This evening we loaded up to get bicycles for everyone. We had received two generous donations earlier that they will grow into. Meanwhile, driveway bliss...
Papaw had to get in on all the fun...
It has been a fun weekend. We are sad to hug Papa goodbye as he heads to X-Fuge camp at Ridgecrest, NC for the week. Thankfully, Tony's parents are in town until Wednesday to help manage the Merida household during some of his away time. :) What a blessing! James, meanwhile, is going to try Upward Soccer Camp tomorrow (and hopefully last the whole week). This should be fun!

My daughter will be going to soccer camp this week, too!
I thought of yall today as a 13 year old boy gave a tender and heartfelt prayer before the offering was collected at church. teary-eyed, I went back in my mind 10 years ago. This scared little boy could not speak very much English at all and had just been adopted from Ukraine. It has been such a blessing to watch him grow and learn over the years and to see him embrace a relationship with the Lord. it wont be long until your babies will be able to communicate and understand much more freely.
What a blessing!
