Girlie Girls...

Tuesday evening's attraction: red headed lizard.  James' was transfixed...
Victoria (a.k.a. Diva) sharing her coloring books with new friend, Amarie...
So sweet...
Angela and James enjoyed snapping a few pictures of us: Olga...
Mama Kimberly...
Today was another good day.  The older three skipped down the halls of church on their way to (and from) VBS this morning.  Victoria was a tired mess so I decided to take her back home to rest (avoid more stimulation).  I actually got to play a little piano while we were home this morning!  What a blessing!  Around 11:00 AM we ran back to the church to work on some re-adoption paperwork.  Our children are already legally ours but this will enable us to get American versions of documents so we can lock up our Ukrainian items (which are written in Russian) for safe keeping and have an in-country resource, etc...

Following lunch and brief quiet time, we were off to swim lessons.  Each of our children are improving with each day.  James is jumping in the deep end and swimming to shallower water.  He is doing fabulous!  Jana is also quite brave but is still working on keeping her head above water in the deep end.  Angela and Victoria (the timid ones) are doing much better as well!  After lessons, Will, Kathryn Ann and Brand took the kids inside for endless amounts of fun.  The girls, especially, were captivated with all of Kat's toys and girlie girl items.  I had to pry them away at 5 PM to go home.  Meanwhile, Brand successfully relocated James from the girlie stuff  upstairs to the Wii.  I let him stay over for another hour with the boys.  He came home at 6 PM telling me all about playing the Wii guitar, boxing, bowling and baseball...

I rewarded the girls' good behavior upon our return home - they went straight to take baths AND cleaned up their bedroom!  So, I presented a tub full of dress up clothes our friends (the Jordans) gave them (I've been storing some wonderful donations for rainy days, etc... since everything we do it quite the overstimulation - ha!).  For the record, we have some girlie girls...
Princess Victoria...
Princess Angela...
Then, of course, Prince James (who had a football costume included in the bunch)... Watch out any of you boys who want to take his sisters out on a date one day!
So sweet... big protective brother...
I love it...
Papa dancing with one of his princesses...
Titus playing tug of war with James' football padded pants...
Jana tried on every costume in the box... one after another... then had to pose with Papa...
And then Mama...
And then she was off to the swing set...
As they say in Russian, "Dasviydanya" (Goodbye)...

I love your blog...I look forward to reading it everyday! When things slow down, we'll meet the children. It may not slow down for a while, but when it does, give us a call!

Our dress up box is a house favorite. When we have kids over to play it is THEIR favorite.
A couple of years ago I hit Target after Halloween. I got 8-10 costumes for about $1.50 each. It was fantastic.

They all look like they are doing great.
You all are always in our prayers.

Kimberly, thanks for keeping us up to date. I love reading the blog and seeing the pictures! You said that James came home telling you about the Wii. Was he speaking English? I was just curious.:)
