Cute Kids...

Today began while it was still dark.  Tony kissed me goodbye sometime before 5 AM and headed to the airport with his parents.  Following a little missing computer incident, all was well and I actually fell back to sleep until 7:30 AM.  All four of the kids came into my room at that time chanting, "Bicycle!"  I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and joined Tony's parents for coffee and laughter over the kids' joy of riding their bikes today.  :)

Just before 9 AM, Papaw and I took James over to Upward Soccer Camp.  I got him all signed in and left him in the care of Papaw, as well as the great team of coaches.  James had fun and did really well.  Soccer (a.k.a. Football) is a more familiar sport to him than basketball or baseball so it was less intimidating.

Meanwhile, the girls played dolls and house well together until lunch time.  We had chicken nuggets in the shape of dolphins... James called them "fishing chicken"... hilarious.  At 1:30 PM we went to show off newly acquired swim skills for Babushka and Dedushka...
Our cute kids...
We took a snack break for fruit roll ups.  I showed the kids the trick of wrapping the fruit roll up around their finger as a creative means of eating it.  So, they each grabbed their floats with their fruit roll up fingers... and I got the camera...

James talking to Papa Tony on my phone (while eating his fruit roll up)...
Babushka playing in the pool with the crew...
We returned home to Mr. Ron Shuck still working hard on screening in our back porch...
Victoria had to go see what all the racket was...
Mr. Ron acquired quite the audience...
James actually contributed a bit to his work... he loved using the nail gun...
Dedushka (Papaw) and Babushka (Mamaw) supervising the bicycle gang...

It was a great day.  Looking forward to what tomorrow holds.  Not sure where our kids get all their energy though.  I'm exhausted!

On a different note, please be in prayer for Tony as he preaches and teaches this week to over 1600 at Ridgecrest Conference Center.  Pray that God would enable Tony to effectively communicate HIS truth... Pray that hearts would be open to the Gospel and lives changed to the praise of Jesus' glory.... Thank you.

I just have to say that bicycle riding is the best! Especially when it takes place in the driveway! I love sitting in one place while Aiden is burning energy!!
