Last Day with Papaw & Mamaw...

This afternoon we went to the Hattiesburg Zoo.  Despite extreme heat, we had a blast!
We took the little train ride around the park to begin our experience...

Jana was showing me how many peacocks were hiding in the bushes...

At every exhibit all I could hear was, "Mama, look!" (x FOUR)
We were melting as we walked around the park in 98 degree Mississippi heat... ha ha... but, we had fun.
Peering over at the sleeping tiger...
When James saw the alligator he yelled out, "Crocodile!"
And then showed me what they do...
Prairie Dog posing for the camera...
The kids loved ending the experience on the carousal...

We tried to ignore the fact that we are saying goodbye to Papaw and Mamaw this evening in order to hold back the tears... what a blessing it has been to be together this past week!  It is hard being so far away from our family (Kentucky & Virginia), but once again - our Heavenly Father has and is and forever will be our Provider and Sustainer!  We cherish the good gifts He has given in such wonderful family AND any opportunities we have to get together!  We also cherish such a wonderful church family who often fills in those familial support roles!  Praise the Lord - for HE is good, loving and a faithful God!

Beautiful family pics!!! I get that "moma look please" (X 2) a million times a day. It's pretty sweet, ain't it?!
